Internet equipment and network installation

Equipment installed. Networks prepared. Projects moving.

Network equipment installation brings together the physical infrastructure, telecommunications rooms, cabling, electrical coordination, and service requirements behind a connected building.

FTR installs TELUS-approved internet equipment and related network infrastructure for commercial and multi-dwelling projects across the Okanagan and Interior British Columbia.

We coordinate with project managers, electrical partners, construction teams, and telecommunications contractors to help move the network scope from installation toward startup and commissioning.

Installation connected to the wider project

Network equipment cannot be installed in isolation. The surrounding infrastructure must be organized, accessible, and prepared for the equipment being introduced.

FTR can support:

  • Internet equipment installation
  • Network equipment placement
  • Telecommunications-room preparation
  • Cable routing and management
  • Fiber and Cat 6 coordination
  • Equipment connection support
  • Pre-startup review
  • Network boot-up coordination
  • Final quality-control inspection

Built to work with your team

FTR understands the importance of trade coordination on active construction sites. We communicate with the wider project team to help keep the telecommunications scope organized and aligned with project requirements.

FTR also works alongside a respected TELUS PRIME contractor based in Kelowna.
